Lanka Kand Part 3 | The War Ignites

The gates of Lanka tremble as the first night of war unfold and Meghnath enters the battlefield.

Hanuman Attack

The Army Assembles

Ram called his entire army.

Lanka stood ahead.

Four massive gates guarded the city.
Four directions.

Sugreev, Jambavan and Vibhishan divided the army into four forces.
Monkeys, bears and warriors were placed under different leaders.

Everyone was taught their role.

No confusion.
No fear.

Only Lanka ahead.

The First Roar

With proud roars, the armies moved.

Some climbed cliffs.
Some hid among trees.
Some waited near caves and hills.

All four gates of Lanka were surrounded.

Inside Lanka, the news spread quickly.

Ram’s army is ready.

Ravana laughed.

It’s time to play with monkeys.

He ordered his devils:

Spread in all directions.
Eat every monkey you see.

Weapons were grabbed.
Swords. Bows. Magical armor. Stones.

The war began.

Chaos

Drums echoed.
Roars shook the land.

Monkeys fought with strength.
Bears with raw power.
Devils attacked with magic.

Ram’s army fought with tactics.
Devils fought with force alone.

As evening came, some animals pulled back after seeing Angad and Hanuman holding ground.

But the devils attacked again.

Night fell.

The battlefield turned dark.

It felt like rain of blood fell from the sky.

Blood.
Rocks.
Ash.

Everywhere.

Light in the Darkness

In the darkness, everyone searched for their own people.

Ram sensed the fear.

He called Angad and Hanuman.

Help the wounded.
Gather those left behind.

Then Ram raised his bow.

A fire arrow shot into the sky.

Light spread across the battlefield.

Hanuman roared.

Under that light, warriors found each other.
Even devils used the light to attack again.

Bodies were pulled away.
The injured helped one another.

By midnight, both sides withdrew.

A Warning Ignored

Inside Lanka, a secret meeting took place.

The dead were counted.
The wounded were treated.

An old demon named Malyavan stood up.

He was wise.

He said to Ravana:

Since you took Sita, your downfall began.
Leave her.
Put your ego aside.
Choose peace.

Ravana exploded.

Smear black ink on your face and leave my kingdom.

Malyavan understood.

This was destiny.

He left Lanka.

Meghnath then stood up.

Tomorrow, I will show you my power.

Ravana felt proud.

Meghnath Enters the War

At dawn, monkeys attacked again.

Stones.
Mountains.
Anything nature could give became a weapon.

Then the sky shook.

Meghnath arrived in his chariot.

He announced loudly:

Ram. Lakshman.
I challenge you.

He mocked the animals.

He stretched his bow.

The arrow was pulled to its end.

And then

Destruction.

Within hours, countless monkeys and bears fell.

Ravana’s army roared in joy.

Hanuman’s Fury

Near Hanuman, bodies lay scattered.

Something broke inside him.

With rage, Hanuman tore an entire mountain from the earth and hurled it toward Meghnath.

Meghnath used magic and flew into the air.

The mountain smashed his chariot.

Hanuman tried to grab him.

But magic made Meghnath slippery.

Meghnath appeared near Ram with Black magic.

He cursed him.
Attacked him.
Used illusion and weapons.

Ram did not panic.

He defended.

He observed.

He understood the tricks.

The Fear

Monkeys whispered among themselves.

If Meghnath fights like this, no one can survive.
We will lose in a day.

Ram saw their faces.

He sensed their fear.

The war had just begun.

And its true weight was now felt.
